Dr. Kainkaryam and Dr. Rodriguez are designated US Civil Surgeons by USCIS and offer Immigration Physicals in South Windsor and Rocky Hill.
Our immigration physicals are a two-part process, where the first part is to identify the various needs and complete the exam, and the second part is to follow-up on any tests/needs and complete the paperwork.
Typically, we can get you in to your immigration exams in 1-2 days, and the process start to finish is usually is completed in 4-7 days barring any abnormal lab tests. Payments are through credit or debit card only.
Exams can be booked up to 8 hours in advance.
Complete medical forms emailed to you or you may lose your appointment.
- Bring an unexpired passport
- Bring your Marriage license (if there has been a name change between your passport and application)
- Bring Medical records translated to English by a certified translator. If you have had treatment for tuberculosis or any other communicable disease, this information should be there.
- Bring any Immunization/Vaccination Records translated into English by a certified translator.
- Bring any Mental Health Records translated into English by a certified translator.
- Bring an interpreter if you do not speak English
- Do NOT ask your PCP to order the labs
- Do NOT ask your PCP or anyone else to order an x-ray
- Do NOT assume we have access to your records. You must bring them.
- Do NOT forget to complete any online forms.

Most insurances do not cover Immigration Exams because they are not considered “medically necessary” and are purely being done for immigration purposes. We do have cash-based pricing if you choose not to use your insurance for labs. Here are codes your insurance may ask if you want to know if they will cover the labs.
