Dr. Diana Rodriguez
¡Hola! I’m Dr. Rodriguez, your bilingual, bicultural Physician with a Jersey twist! Raised on a blend of English, Spanish, and the lively rhythms of my Dominican roots, I’m here to make your wellness journey as vibrant as my upbringing.
From the hustle of New Jersey to the chill of Massachusetts, I earned my stripes at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Pre-med was my jam, and ensuring I added some medical humanities for good measure. Then, it was off to Dominica for my medical degree – yes, the one in the Caribbean with amazing weather!
Back on U.S. soil, I fine-tuned my skills at the University of Connecticut during residency. Mental health, health literacy, and the socioeconomic dance with physical health areas I love. Food is my medicine, and motivational interviewing is my mic drop! I’m all about helping people become their own health MVPs, one conversation at a time.
Lifelong learner, enthusiastic teacher, and your partner in wellness. Let’s decode your health together!

Dr. Vasanth Kainkaryam
Hello and welcome. I’m Dr. Vasanth Kainkaryam — Internist, Pediatrician, husband, father, author, baker, patient, and someone who believes that life is a blend of free will and destiny.
I created 4 Elements® Direct Primary Care & Wellness Space for one simple reason: to help patients experience a smoother, clearer, more human journey toward health and wellness. Over the years, my path through medicine revealed something important to me: healthcare had become complicated, fragmented, and often impersonal. I knew there had to be a better way.
My philosophy is straightforward. A doctor and a patient should have a direct, meaningful, and two-way relationship. That means honesty. Feedback. Trust. Curiosity. Thinking outside the box. Support. And yes — even a little fun in the process of getting well together.
- Doctor of Medicine, University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry
- Master of Science in Health Informatics, Northwestern University
- Executive Master of Business Administration (Strategic Leadership), Valar Institute
- Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics, Biology), Cornell University
- Certified Physician Executive, Certifying Commission on Medical Management (CPE)

Direct Primary Care made simple.
Everything you need to know about Direct Primary Care memberships, how they work, and why many patients are choosing this modern model of care.
What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based healthcare model that removes insurance from routine primary care. Patients pay a simple monthly membership which provides better access, longer visits, and a stronger relationship with their physician.
How is this different from traditional primary care?
Traditional clinics must see large numbers of patients daily because they rely on insurance billing. DPC practices limit patient panels so physicians can spend more time with each patient and provide more personalized care.
Do you accept health insurance?
Direct Primary Care memberships do not bill insurance for primary care visits. However, you can still use your insurance for specialist visits, imaging, hospital care, or medications if needed.
Can I still have insurance?
Yes. Many patients keep insurance or a high-deductible health plan for major medical events while using DPC for everyday care.
What does the membership include?
Membership typically includes primary care visits, preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness guidance, and easier access to your physician.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
DPC practices generally offer same-day or next-day visits for urgent concerns, along with easier communication options for patients.
Can I contact my doctor between visits?
Yes. Members often have the ability to communicate with the practice through secure messaging, phone, or other convenient communication methods.
Is Direct Primary Care affordable?
Most DPC memberships cost less than a typical monthly phone bill. Because the model removes insurance billing overhead, practices can focus on delivering better care at a transparent price.
Do you help coordinate specialist care?
Yes. Your physician can help guide referrals, review results, and coordinate care with specialists when needed.
Is Direct Primary Care right for families?
Many families choose DPC because it offers easier access to care, more time with their physician, and a preventive approach focused on long-term health.
